Little Book of Big Scams

Tarian Regional Organised Crime Unit is pleased to present the 'Little Book of Big Scams’, reproduced by kind permission of the Metropolitan Police service’s cyber crime unit.

As the majority of fraud offences now occur over the internet, some of these crimes are committed abroad, which complicate any subsequent police investigations. It can be extremely difficult, if not impossible to recover any stolen funds.

The crime prevention information contained in this publication will help you stay safe and protected from the rising tide of fraudsters and scammers, who may target you for your valuable personal information and hard earned money.
