Cyber: Planning today for a prosperous future

We're very happy to be involved in shaping the Welsh Government's Cyber Action Plan. The plan will be aimed at organisations, with a strong relevance to public services, the third sector and business.

Work is now underway to define themes and joined up actions with key stakeholders, with an aim to publish the plan during the spring.

Meleri Jones, senior policy officer cyber leadership and co-ordination for the Welsh Government, comments: “We think it’s important for Wales to have a clear vision and ambition for cyber, along with a set of actions on how we’re going to deliver that ambition.”

Wales already has in place a strong cyber ecosystem in the country with partnerships between government, industry and academia. Meleria adds: "We want to continue to build on this success, by making the most of our investments and partnerships, so that we bring even greater benefit to Wales.”
